Meet Dr. Brittany

Dr. Brittany Ang

DMD MDS MBS

I discovered my passion for science and medicine in high school. Dentistry, and more specifically the specialty of orthodontics, provides the unique opportunity to use my creativity and knowledge to create a positive impact on patients’ lives. The best parts of my day include developing lasting relationships with my patients, while witnessing the elation a patient expresses as their smile transforms.  Working together with my patients as a team to achieve their dream smile creates an incredible sense of pride, accomplishment, and purpose.

"Like an artist is fulfilled by the completion of a
painting, or an architect swells with pride in seeing their building take shape, I’m inspired by the prospect of creating these moments and transforming the lives of those in my community"

As a native of Ocean City, where my family has lived for 4 generations, it has been my dream to be able to return to South Jersey and open an orthodontic practice to serve Atlantic and Cape May Counties. The desire to contribute to my community has been a driving force throughout my life. This was instilled in me early on having grown up in a family with members of the military, police, fire, and EMS. I’ve found a fascination in the idea that one person, armed with the desire for positive change, can have a boundless impact on those around them. This fascination inspired me to create the inaugural Relay for Life event in my hometown of Ocean City, NJ, which donated more than $275,000 to the American Cancer Society during the three years that I was the chairperson. It is what has led me to participate in the Community Oriented Dental Education (CODE) Program at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, and propelled me to serve as the community service chair for several organizations throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate career. My family and I look forward to continuing to be active members of our local community!

As a practitioner committed to fostering interdisciplinary care, I believe in the power of collaboration among dental professionals to achieve the best treatment outcomes for our patients. By working together with general dentists and specialists in our community, we can provide comprehensive and seamless care that addresses both the functional and aesthetic aspects of our patients' oral health needs.

When I'm not creating beautiful smiles, I love spending time at the beach, boardwalk, and on the water. As a former dancer and collegiate gymnast, I enjoy staying active and can be found walking on the Linwood bike path, doing yoga and pilates, or chasing after my toddler (an unrecognized olympic sport)! I'm married to my husband Tyler and I have a son, Hawkins, and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Reagan. You'll be seeing a lot of them around the office, it's truly a family affair and we wouldn't have it any other way!

Welcome to my practice, I look forward to meeting you. It would be my privilege to guide you on your orthodontic journey!
